Big congratulations to Seven Peaks alumna Hannah Miller for winning the Oregon Department of Transportation’s statewide billboard design contest!

Now a sophomore at Bend Senior High, Hannah created a powerful design reminding drivers to slow down and stay alert in work zones. Her billboard, featuring the message “Eyes UP. Slow DOWN. Save a Worker’s Life,” will be displayed across Central Oregon as part of ODOT’s roadway safety campaign.

What began as a classroom assignment in advanced graphics became a real-world project with meaningful impact. We love seeing our alumni use creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills to make a difference in the community.

Way to go, Hannah! Your Seven Peaks family is so proud of you.

What a night at the Domino Room!

Thanks to Mr. Davies, our incredible rock band instructor, as well as Ben McCleod for capturing the evening through photography, and all our friends at the Domino Room for supporting student musicians and live music in our community.

Parents, friends, and fans had a blast enjoying performances from:
Disconicidas, Eklypse, Feedback, Midnight Sun, Pop Rocks, Purple Panthers, Studfinder, and The Government.

From first chords to final encores, our students showcased creativity, collaboration, confidence, and courage on stage. Keep rocking, and let music be your guide! 🎸🥁🎤

🎭 Improvisation, creativity, and international mindedness in action!

Seven Peaks Performing Arts is thrilled to achieve Best of the Nest 1st place for theater!

We acknowledge the dedication of our Theater Program Instructors Clayton Pearce and Nic Davies.

In support of ongoing professional development, Mr Pearce traveled to Valencia, Spain, this spring to collaborate with performers from around the world at an international improv festival focused on storytelling, connection, and creative risk-taking. His experience reflects the heart of a Seven Peaks education: curiosity, collaboration, and learning beyond the classroom.

YOU ARE INVITED! This Friday, May 15th. Come see our student artists share their work from this year’s theme:

“Enchanted Forest: Cultivating a Sense of Wonder”

We believe that as artists and makers, caring for our forest starts with a sense of awe and wonder.

We cultivate a sense of childlike wonder as we seek to experience our forest with eyes open and ears open, looking and listening for the language of the forest to speak to us in the form of inspiration.

We cultivate a sense of wonder that we share through all kinds of artwork. You will see the expression of our wonder as you look at art inspired by artists around the world, a variety of techniques, and different genres.

Come “wonder” with us.

👏🎤Big applause for 8th grader Bruno Barsotti and an incredible crew of student musicians who turned music into meaningful action through the IB Community Project! 🎸🎶

Bruno organized a rock band concert to raise money and awareness for .lane.treatment Serenity Lane, helping support individuals and families on their recovery journeys right here in our Bend community.

The IB Community Project is a student-led service learning initiative designed to help students identify and address real needs in their communities through action, collaboration, and reflection. Bruno’s project brought together creativity, leadership, and compassion in a powerful way.

A huge thank you to Bruno, his band, all of the talented student musicians, and our fearless music teacher, Mr. Davies, for making this event such a success!

Third graders + wide open skies + a little dirt on their hands 🌿

For Earth Day, our 3rd graders spent the afternoon exploring art teacher, Charlene Santucci’s beautiful property—observing, wondering, and connecting with the natural world in ways that only being outside can inspire.

From noticing small details underfoot to asking big questions about ecosystems, the experience brought learning to life. It’s one thing to talk about caring for the planet in the classroom. It’s another to feel it, see it, and step into it.

Moments like these remind us that curiosity grows best in fresh air—and that stewardship starts with connection.

Thank you, Charlene, and 3rd grade teacher, Mr. Lyke, for opening your space and helping our students celebrate Earth Day in such a meaningful way 🌎

Kazoos and Pre-K? Absolutely.

At Seven Peaks School, even the smallest moments are rooted in purposeful learning.

In our Pre-K classroom, music is more than joyful noise, it is a pathway to growth.

“Music is a constant in our classroom,” shares Susannah Gingo, Pre-K–1 Lead Teacher. “At this point in the year, students are developmentally ready to take on new challenges that build body awareness, self-management, and control.”

On any given morning, you might hear the sounds of preschool songs, laughter, and yes, a chorus of kazoos. But behind the fun is meaningful skill-building. Through music, students strengthen coordination, practice self-regulation, and explore creative expression, all key components of the IB Approaches to Learning.

It is learning that feels like play, and play that builds confident, capable learners.

Now enrolling for the 2026–27 school year. Pre-K openings available.

This is IB learning at its best.

Our 5th graders are stepping into one of the most meaningful milestones of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme: the PYP Exhibition.

This culminating project brings together everything they’ve been building toward
the Learner Profile traits, Approaches to Learning (ATLs), and their own curiosity and agency.

Working collaboratively, students design and present inquiries connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, weaving together research, critical thinking, and real-world relevance. Along the way, they showcase not only their learning process, but also their growing Spanish language skills and ability to communicate with purpose.

Guided by a PYP Coordinator, Sammy Lyke, whose foundation is deeply rooted in IB pedagogy and international experience, this exhibition reflects years of intentional, student-centered learning.

The result?
Confident, thoughtful learners ready to take on the world.

We invite you to experience it firsthand.
