Big congratulations to Seven Peaks alumna Hannah Miller for winning the Oregon Department of Transportation’s statewide billboard design contest!
Now a sophomore at Bend Senior High, Hannah created a powerful design reminding drivers to slow down and stay alert in work zones. Her billboard, featuring the message “Eyes UP. Slow DOWN. Save a Worker’s Life,” will be displayed across Central Oregon as part of ODOT’s roadway safety campaign.
What began as a classroom assignment in advanced graphics became a real-world project with meaningful impact. We love seeing our alumni use creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills to make a difference in the community.
Way to go, Hannah! Your Seven Peaks family is so proud of you.

🎭 Improvisation, creativity, and international mindedness in action!
Seven Peaks Performing Arts is thrilled to achieve Best of the Nest 1st place for theater!
We acknowledge the dedication of our Theater Program Instructors Clayton Pearce and Nic Davies.
In support of ongoing professional development, Mr Pearce traveled to Valencia, Spain, this spring to collaborate with performers from around the world at an international improv festival focused on storytelling, connection, and creative risk-taking. His experience reflects the heart of a Seven Peaks education: curiosity, collaboration, and learning beyond the classroom.

YOU ARE INVITED! This Friday, May 15th. Come see our student artists share their work from this year’s theme:
“Enchanted Forest: Cultivating a Sense of Wonder”
We believe that as artists and makers, caring for our forest starts with a sense of awe and wonder.
We cultivate a sense of childlike wonder as we seek to experience our forest with eyes open and ears open, looking and listening for the language of the forest to speak to us in the form of inspiration.
We cultivate a sense of wonder that we share through all kinds of artwork. You will see the expression of our wonder as you look at art inspired by artists around the world, a variety of techniques, and different genres.
Come “wonder” with us.

This is IB learning at its best.
Our 5th graders are stepping into one of the most meaningful milestones of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme: the PYP Exhibition.
This culminating project brings together everything they’ve been building toward
the Learner Profile traits, Approaches to Learning (ATLs), and their own curiosity and agency.
Working collaboratively, students design and present inquiries connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, weaving together research, critical thinking, and real-world relevance. Along the way, they showcase not only their learning process, but also their growing Spanish language skills and ability to communicate with purpose.
Guided by a PYP Coordinator, Sammy Lyke, whose foundation is deeply rooted in IB pedagogy and international experience, this exhibition reflects years of intentional, student-centered learning.
The result?
Confident, thoughtful learners ready to take on the world.
We invite you to experience it firsthand.
