LUNCH & RAFFLE REMINDER
Happy almost Spring! Reminder! We are doing a much-needed Staff Luncheon this week on THURSDAY 3/19 just as we roll into conferences and Spring Break. The theme is “Lunch at the Beach - Vacay Vibes!” along with a bunch of fun activities for them to show our appreciation for all that they do for our kids EVERYDAY! (Think vacay ready outfits, flashmob, raffle)

We will be providing a build-your-own taco bar lunch. Take a look to see of there is something you can contribute. Most importantly we need help with set up and clean up. It’s not rocket science - just setting up a buffet. Anne will happily connect with you to give you the deets and the staff are there as well. Here’s the sign up:

Congrats Summit High School and Caldera High School!

We are excited to share that two of our high schools – Summit and Caldera – made the Advanced Placement Honor Roll for 2025. The AP Honor Roll recognizes schools that have done outstanding work to welcome more students into college-level courses and support them on the path to college success.

Summit High School was named a Gold-star school for its high level of student participation in AP classes and exams. Specifically, 77 percent of Summit’s 2025 graduates took at least one AP exam in high school; 65 percent scored 3 or higher on an AP exam; and 13 percent took five or more AP exams, including at least one as a freshman or sophomore.

Caldera was named a Silver-star school for the AP class and exam participation of its students. In 2025, 55 percent of graduates took at least one AP exam in high school; 37 percent scored 3 or higher on an AP exam; and 6 percent took five or more AP exams, including at least one as a freshman or sophomore.

Research shows students who take AP courses and exams are more likely to attend college and graduate on time. Students who enter four-year colleges with credit from AP accelerate their path to graduation and build confidence for college success. And even for those who don’t earn college credit, AP coursework provides early exposure to college-level work and contributes to a college-going school culture.
