To guide and inspire overwhelmed mamas everywhere to live and parent with presence, ease and joy by

Words can’t even begin to express the GRATITUDE I feel for this guy. 💗

🌟What are you celebrating?🌟

The last couple of years has reminded us that life is precious and it’s essential to lean into JOY.

All the more reason to CELEBRATE! ✨

In our coaching sessions, I consistently track my client’s wins so they can reflect on all the goodness and positive steps forward they’re taking in their life. So often we’re focused ahead and rarely pause to realize all the awesomeness taking shape internally and externally. It’s incredibly important that we stop to see all the greatness in our world so we can let uplifting energy lead the way.

Our wins (and there are so many!) are meant to be celebrated! 💃

And the best news is that If we practice this on the regular, it becomes a habit, and celebration (in the form of honoring, feeling presence, positivity, joy, excitement AND having more fun!) becomes a way of being. Doesn’t that sound lovely?! Yes, please!

Sooooo what are you celebrating this week? 🌟

Here are a handful of mine:
🌈Zella graduated 5th grade.
🌈School is almost out (more sleep and sunshine on its way!)
🌈I’m feeling super inspired in my work and good things are happening!
🌈My family got up to the mountains for after school fun.
🌈Some dear friends just signed up for my yoga retreat and it’s almost full.

Your turn… 🤩 Tell me in the comments.

Make note of your wins and then celebrate them!!!
💛💛💛

✨ If the dream is in you it’s for you! ✨
- Amber Lilyestrom

There was so much inspiration inside our Seen 4-Day Visibility Challenge today, like this goodie —
🌟 Your dreams are not here by accident. They are a doorway of possibility… the neon sign that flashes, “Notice This!!!”
Amen. 🙏

So the question posed today was to tell the story of the dream you’re living today that the former version of you had…

Here’s what comes up for me… A former version of me, the one I mentioned yesterday (above)☝🏼from six years ago, dreamt of building a coaching business for mamas to help them have the tools to thrive, to realize their vision and to make their biggest, brightest and best dreams a reality.

I’m here, six years later with a business that I adore, Mindful Mama Living. 🙌🏼💗 I work with amazing women everyday who excite and inspire me. I have the honor of witnessing their breakthroughs, of connecting on all their wins and the many growth opportunities that surround them. I have the privilege of guiding them through (one of my very favorite processes) creating their Best Life Vision Map so they have can see what they most want and know that they are moving closer to it every day.

I created the business that my former self needed to exist for her, first and foremost. I have used all the tools and practices I offer others to catapult myself forward into this dream that’s now a reality, and one that continues to evolve in new and wonderful ways.

I am always asking my clients to celebrate how far they’ve come and how their dreams are being actualized on the regular. We humans tend to rush toward the next step without fully stopping to notice and CELEBRATE 🙌🏼 where we’ve arrived, inside this place our former self has so courageously brought us.

So friends, as I answer this, I’m taking a break and letting myself feel awe for how far I’ve come. And, I’d love for you to do the same… How has your former self’s dream moved you into the reality of today? I bet it’s a great story — do tell! 🤩

As always, thanks for being here!
Much love,
Leisha

I recently returned from the most amazing yoga retreat with these phenomenal women. I am in awe of each one of them and so incredibly grateful they showed up! 🙏🌟 And it wouldn’t have happened if my soul sis, MJ Daniels, hadn’t stayed so determined — she rocks! 🥰

I haven’t been around social media for a while. I guess I needed a loooong retreat. 😜

As we looked at during our time away, it’s officially fall and a perfect opportunity to start the process of retreating inward more often as we approach winter. It’s ideal to take inventory and decide what good habits and ways of being we want to harvest for the year ahead and what we’re ready to release (like the leaves 🍁 that are falling away right now).

Happy Fall! 💐 May we all take some time to retreat (at home or away). 💛

It’s upon us! 🌟Happy New Year!🌟

It’s time to say goodbye to 2020 and 👋 HELLO to 2021. Many of us are ready... and because tomorrow will be another day, if we want things to be different, it’s necessary to be intentional.

Even though tomorrow marks a new year, your life only changes because you decide to change it! ⚡️

So, take a pause today and ponder...This year has been full of unbelievable lessons, and these lessons are the greatest teachers of our lives.

🌟What are you going to consciously carry with you in these days, weeks and months to come?

🌟What do you want more of in this year ahead? What’s working? What feels good and right? What do you welcome in with open arms?

🌟And, what do you want less of? What’s not serving your highest good? What leaves you feeling depleted/out of sorts/not in alignment with who you really are?

Write it down. Seeing it is powerful. Let’s be deliberate about calling in what we most want and releasing what we don’t need.

We can do it! We are capable of more than we can possibly imagine. 💫

Happy New Year! ❤️ Sending much love as we shift into this new beginning. 🌈

“Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognize how good things really are.” -Marianne Williamson

⬆️ This is me in a joyful moment, out in the snow, cross-country skiing with my family. 🥰

❤️ Choosing joy is a practice. We watch the wide eyed little people around us in varying states of joy. It comes so easy to them. For us, reasonably responsible adults, it can sometimes feel like our well of joy is pretty sparse.

We can change that by making some small, simple changes that can have a big impact.
Here’s how:

1. Make a list of all that’s good and right in your life. This only takes a few moments. There are lots of things when we really look.

2. Celebrate & enjoy! Recognize all the goodness. Make the space to appreciate and soak it in.

3. Now, ask yourself, “What brings me joy and makes me feel most alive?” Right now, as we build back that well of joy within, notice all the things that bring you delight (especially the small things!). Here are some of mine as an example: time to myself in the early morn, watching the trees out my office window, coffee, running, morning snuggles with my daughters, good music, connection with friends, my work, reading, being in nature... 🌟When you recognize you’re enjoying something, pause, and soak that sweetness in. It creates an imprint.

Connecting to joy is a practice that eventually becomes a habit. What could be more worthwhile then tapping into joy on the daily?!

Happy Holidays my friends. May we notice all the joyful moments that occur! 🎄🌟❤️

XO,
Leisha

🌟When to see a life coach🌟

Friends, let’s be real! We all can use a large heaping of help most of the time. Life coaching can give us the lift we need to shift our life in major ways. Here’s a list of when life coaching can really REALLY help (though my short answer is that it can help ALWAYS, no matter what’s going on). 🤩

⚡️You feel lost.

⚡️ You’re facing a major transition

⚡️ You’re letting fear hold you back.

⚡️You can’t seem to focus.

⚡️You want to get ‘unstuck’ and set goals you will actually achieve.

⚡️Anxiety and stress are recurring themes.

⚡️Limiting beliefs have been holding you back.

⚡️You feel like your life is on autopilot, and want to challenge yourself or break out of your comfort zone.

⚡️ The passion you once had for life is missing.

⚡️ You know your inner critic keeps you from living your best life and you want to learn how to quiet that voice.

⚡️ You want to accelerate to the next step in your career.

⚡️You need better time management.

⚡️ You desire a life with purpose and meaning but don’t know where to start.

⚡️ You feel confused about the next chapter in your life.

⚡️ You want to hold yourself more accountable in your personal &/or professional life.

My coach has helped me to massively transform my life. And I’ve had the honor of watching my clients do the same. If you’re curious about how coaching can benefit you, reach out and let’s schedule a free consultation! 🤩 Let’s show up in a big, bright, beautiful way for 2021!

If you’re wondering what a life coach is exactly, you’re not alone, and I’m here to tell you! 🤩

A life coach is someone who helps you identify your goals and develop a plan to achieve them. 💪🏼

We all need help sometimes, especially when it comes to self-discovery. On our own it can be pretty tricky to figure our way from Point A (identifying our dreams) to Point B (making them a reality). That’s where a life coach comes in.

Life coaches play the important roles of supporter, motivator, strategist and accountability partner. Us life coaches are like personal trainers for your life goals. We have the professional training and mindset that is needed to coach you towards your dream life. 🌈 Throughout the process, your life coach is with you every step of the way, helping you stay on track and motivated to accomplish your BIG vision and so much more.

A life coach helps you to move your life forward and to find meaning, fulfillment, success, well-being, and happiness. 🥰

🌟Tips for your toolbox🌟

This is a continuation of my last post ➡️ on self-compassion... Let’s look at how we can PRACTICE, and make a habit out of, treating ourselves with kindness and compassion. To live our best life, it’s an absolute must!

🌟Think of your difficult emotions and thoughts as data. By tuning into these uncomfortable emotions, you start to gain a deeper and richer internal understanding. It’s helpful to ask yourself, “What is this (fill in the emotion) pointing to that’s important to me? What is it here to teach me?” This process of inquiring can provide you with precious knowledge about who you are and what really matters.

🌟Imagine if your child (or any child) comes to you feeling sad. Would you punish or berate them? Of course not! You’d show them love and comfort. Tune into your inner child and give them the same treatment. Talk to yourself in the same way you’d connect with that little one. I often turn inward and say something calming, just as I’d talk to my daughters, like, “Oh sweetheart, it’s okay. Let’s take some deep breaths. This will pass. I love you.” It may sound cheesy but it really helps.

🌟Get curious about your experience. When you’re looking at your thoughts and emotions with a sense of interest, you’re not busy judging yourself (whew!), and this can guide you to figure out the next right step to take. You can ask yourself, “What can I do in this situation that will serve me, my values, and my goals?”

Watch your inner world closely. When you’re beating yourself up, deepening negative thoughts patterns, or snapping at yourself, pause and notice. You’ll feel your mind soften and in that process of recognition, the habit of kindness toward the most important person in your life will form.

What a relief. 🙌🏼

“What we say to ourselves in the privacy of our own mind matters.” - Marie Forleo

It matters A LOT. 🤩

How do you talk to yourself? I don’t mean the out-loud nonsensical chatter. I’m curious about the tone of your inner conversations. Are you kind, calm, and compassionate? Or are you gruff, rude, and critical?

If you post up in that mind of yours and REALLY pay attention for a bit, are you talking to yourself as you would a cherished friend or as someone you care very little about?

It can be helpful to ask ourselves, “If I said the same thing to a close friend, how would I expect them to respond?” Or the opposite, “If a dear friend said those words with that tone to me, how would I feel?”

How can our precious mind be peaceful and balanced if we are constantly harassing (dare I say, abusing) it?

How about we practice directing some straight-up loving kindness toward ours truly!?! What could be more important than treating ourselves with the care, compassion, and grace we deserve? The answer is NOTHING. Self-compassion and inner kindness are the only way.

And just like anything else, we can make it an integral habit in our lives through—you guessed it—practice.

I’m running out of room! 😳 If you’d like some helpful tips for your toolbox, either jump forward to my next (more recent) post as a continuation of this one OR pop up to my profile and click on the link to my blog.

Here’s to offering ourselves the compassion we deserve ❤️ALL❤️THE❤️TIME❤️.

✨✨WHO ELSE FEELS A LITTLE “STUCK” RIGHT NOW?✨✨

I think we can all agree that 2020 has been a “unique” year. I think we can also agree that there have been some silver linings along the way. However, we’d likely be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t felt challenged over these past 9 months.
If this speaks to you in any way, please know that I am here for you.🥰

My many years as a trained and certified life coach, and a mindfulness coach has given me some unique tools that I would love to share with you as we journey into 2021.
To celebrate the Holiday Season, I am giving my new potential clients a FREE 45 minute session, to see how we may take the lessons of 2020, and bring them into the new beginnings in the year to come. Please feel free to message me, or DM me with any questions or interest.

I can’t wait to connect with you and begin your journey soon! ♥️
