The Bible
It’s called the Word of God because the Old & New Testaments are God’s communication to all people. The key to experiencing the magnificence of God is to learn and live by the principles found in the Bible. God
No way is God dead or irrelevant. Rather, God is the loving Creator and the Sustainer of all things. Amazingly, He lives eternally and uniquely as the Trinity. Specifically, Father, Son, & Holy Spirit … three in one. All three Persons of the Trinity are equal in every manner. Now is this difficult to understand? In fact we can’t really fully comprehend this concept of how God exists even though we definitely believe it is true. But think about, if we could understand everything about God with our limited abilities then that would mean He really isn’t all that great. On the contrary, our God is an awesome God! Jesus Christ
There is no one like Jesus. He has always existed as God in Heaven, but then He came to Earth conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Merry Christmas! As such, Jesus is miraculously and uniquely fully God and fully human. You & Me
God created all men and women to be in a perfect relationship of love with Himself and to enjoy forever the blessings that only He is capable of giving. He wants us to worship Him alone as Almighty God. We believe in the sanctity of all human life because the Bible says we are created in the image of God. Tragically, because of the sin and evil in our lives, we’ve separated ourselves from God and all that He offers us. Getting Back Together with God
Jesus came to bridge the gap in relationship between God and us. He died on the cross as the perfect payment for all our sin and physically resurrected from the dead to prove He can and will give eternal life to all who follow Him. Happy Easter! When we place our faith in the Lord Jesus and surrender to Him as God and Savior, then we are (as the Bible puts it) born anew and we begin the relationship with God that we were originally intended to enjoy right from the start. When we surrender to Jesus, the Holy Spirit immediately partners with us to insure that we are never separated from God again and that we have all the spiritual resources we need to grow in our ability to follow Jesus. Jesus’ Church
When we follow Jesus, He makes us part of the Church, which is all Christians everywhere. He also tells us to enter into “community” within a church, which is a local gathering of believers found in locations all around the world. Within these localized church gatherings of community, Jesus leads each of us to love God, love one another, and lovingly help the rest of the world to follow Him also. Two really special things that Jesus gave to His followers to do are called baptism and communion. Baptism is when we immerse new believers in water as we invoke the Name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. This action symbolizes the death of our old sinful life and the reality of our new redeemed life in Christ. Communion (the bread and the cup) is our way of commemorating the incredible sacrifice of Jesus in dying for us on the Cross and demonstrating our belief in His promise that we will one day be with Him in Heaven. The Future
Just like He physically came before, so Jesus will return to literally establish the Kingdom of God on Earth for a thousand years, culminating in a whole new creation called the New Heavens and the New Earth. Jesus has an amazing plan in place! And on a very personal level, that plan also includes every individual who has ever lived being physically resurrected and all of us entering an eternal destiny either with or without God. Those who have not turned to God by surrendering to Jesus in this life will be forever without God. This is Hell. In contrast, those who have turned to God by surrendering to Jesus in this life will be forever with God. This is called Heaven. While God leaves the responsibility to choose up to us, it is His utmost desire that everyone would choose to follow Jesus. Human Sexuality and Marriage
God created us as men and women. He ordained that marriage be between a man and a woman and that marriage is the proper place for the expression of sexual oneness between human beings. Is this all we believe? In fact, this isn’t even all the Bible has to say about the few topics mentioned here. But again, these are some of “the basics.” And you know, if you’ve read this far, we’ve probably caught your attention to some degree and we hope you’ll give us the opportunity to share more about God’s truth and His amazing love for you. Honestly, we’ve discovered the more we know and follow Jesus then the better life gets. Plus, we’ve personally learned that the quality of life the Bible shows us is far better than anything we could have come up with on our own.
