🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Meet Emma ! 🌟

We're excited to shine this week's spotlight on Emma, one of our wonderful Infant Teachers!

Hi!! I’m Emma and i’ve worked at sunshine academy for 2 1/2 years!! I’ve lived in Bend basically my whole life and love to enjoy all the beautiful lakes and rivers here!!
I was a twos teacher for 2 years and now I’m working with the infants!! I am passionate about childcare and working with toddlers and infants. These are some of the most development years, and being apart of all their individual growth is so special. Watching each child form their own personality’s is such a beautiful thing and makes me love what I do!!

Emma is the kind of teacher who brings both experience and heart to the classroom, and our babies and families are so lucky to have her. We are incredibly grateful for everything she brings to Sunshine Academy and so proud to have her as part of our team! 💛☀️

🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Meet Addyson! 🌟

We're excited to shine this week's spotlight on Addyson, one of our wonderful Infant Teachers!

Hi! I'm Addyson, and I've been working at Sunshine Academy for almost a year! I'm 19 years old and graduated from Mountain View High School last year. I've always had a passion for caring for babies, so I knew working in the infant room was the perfect fit for me. One of my favorite things about working with infants is being part of such an important stage in each baby's growth and development. Watching them reach new milestones, build trust, and learn something new every day is incredibly rewarding. Creating a safe, loving environment where they can thrive is what makes my job so meaningful and fulfilling.

As Addyson approaches her one-year anniversary with Sunshine Academy, I couldn't be more proud of the teacher she has become. From day one, she has shown patience, compassion, and a genuine love for every baby in her care. She has a calm, nurturing presence that helps our infants feel safe, loved, and supported every day. Her dedication to our families and her commitment to creating meaningful connections with each child have made her an invaluable member of our team. We are so thankful to have Addyson as part of the Sunshine Academy family and can't wait to see all she continues to accomplish!

Tuesday, July 14, our free food Mobile Food Pantry will be at Ponderosa Park, 1410 SE Wilson Ave, Bend from 12-1 pm. All the food is free. No proof of ID or income needed.
