Morning Star Christian School is a STEM school located in Bend, Oregon offering faith-based STEM education for kids from birth to eighth grade. Founded in 1982, the name comes from the inspiration that Jesus is the “bright morning star” as referenced in Revelation 22:16. Also Matthew 2:2 depicts how the wise men kept their eyes fixated on Christ’s star which guided them toward Himself, serving as

a reminder for us to focus our attention on Christ and follow his example. Morning Star Christian School aims to marry the Bible with a STEM education, woven together and intertwined throughout the monthly themes and curriculum. We have spend the past eight years focusing on educating through hands on projects and developing critical thinking skills so kids can excel in scientific and mathematical studies.

Preschool–Kindergarten: Classroom orientation begins promptly at 5:30 PM

Infants, Toddlers, Jr. Preschool 1 & 2: Drop in anytime between 5:30–6:30 PM to explore classrooms

Grades 1–8: Drop in anytime between 5:30–6:30 PM to meet teachers & explore classrooms

Playground Social 6:00–6:30 PM: Popsicles for kids & bubbly water for parents

More Phase 1 playground improvements are here!

Our log nest and outdoor stage are ready for the ultimate make-believe fun, creativity, and imagination! Some of our summer camp students got to be the first ones to have fun on them. We can’t wait for the rest of our students to enjoy these fun, new features!

A special thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make this vision come together, especially John Sitz Construction, the McLean Family, Casey Roats, and Kevin West! We are so grateful for the time, talent, and teamwork that went into creating this special space for our students!

✨ What a special treat during the last week of school! ✨

We were thrilled to welcome the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon for a day filled with hands-on fun, exploration, and learning! 🔍

Our students had the opportunity to learn, create, explore, and make memories through engaging activities brought right to them. It was the perfect way to celebrate the end of a wonderful school year!

A huge thank you to the Children’s Museum of Central Oregon for making our students’ final week extra special! We are so grateful for experiences that spark curiosity, encourage imagination, and bring so many smiles. 🌟

🕺✨ Middle School Silent Disco Recap ✨🕺

What a totally rad night! 🎧🎶 Our Middle School students traveled back to the 80s for an unforgettable Silent Disco filled with neon colors, epic dance moves, great music, and lots of laughter.

From rocking out with friends to showing off their best 80s style, students made memories that will last long after the music stopped. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a fun and exciting celebration for our middle schoolers!

At the end of each school year, our Kindergarten-8th Grade teachers take time to recognize the unique gifts, growth, and achievements of every student. Through special awards, students are celebrated for their individual spiritual character, academic strengths, leadership, perseverance, integrity, curiosity, and so much more.

We love reflecting on how God has worked in each student’s life throughout the year and honoring the qualities that make them uniquely His. 💙
