Finally caught up with Dom 🤝

Skier, ripper, DJ, sound guy and all-around send-it human.

Big shoutout to Dominic for jumping in on Slice & Shred and holding down the music and sound from 10 AM to 6 PM. Dom will be spinning tunes and keeping the energy moving all day, with his trusty sidekick Drew helping keep the sound operation dialed.

If you need a DJ or sound guy for an event, Dom is available for hire. Hit him up directly.

MEET AIDAN 🤙🌊

Aidan Meadows is our Swiftwater Rescue Technician for Volcom Slice & Shred.

We walked the Bend River Wave and talked through what he’ll be watching for Saturday: concrete piers, boards, river obstacles, foot entrapment and whatever else moving water decides to throw at us.

And if something does go sideways, let the trained rescue crew handle the rescue.

Surf hard. Keep your feet up in moving water. Use your head. Don’t turn one rescue into two. 😂

Swiftwater safety with Aidan… eventually 😂

We were trying to make legit content for Volcom Slice & Shred when our coffee guy disappeared because he didn’t want to be in the shot.

That was Forrest.

Random dude passing through Bend, surfing the wave, headed from Idaho down toward Grants Pass to guide this winter.

Also casually builds sick camper setups like the slide-out kitchen sitting behind us.
