Chers/Chères amis, I have spoken to a couple of you about this already, however, the French American Heritage Foundation is trying to revive a singing group, founded in 1997, called Les Canadiens Errants. The group performs traditional French Canadian songs, including les chansons Voyageurs. If you are interested in possibly joining this group, please let me know. Les Candiens Errants are based in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Merci!

Concordia Language Villages is giving away 25 $1000 scholarships for 2017! If you know someone between the ages of 8-18 interested in learning a foreign language CLV is the place to do it.

Concordia Language Villages is awarding twenty-five $1,000 Lead with Languages scholarships so that learners can attend a two-week (ages 8-18) or four-week (high school) summer youth immersion program at Concordia Language Villages this summer.

Concordia Language Villages seeks applications for a new Executive Director. The executive director is responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of Concordia Language Villages, ensuring that the programming of Concordia Language Villages (CLV) consistently reflects the mission of responsible, global citizenship through language and cultural immersion, while also achieving annual and long-term financial goals.. The executive director provides direction to all strategic marketing and promotional initiatives, ensuring that enrollment projections are met for youth, adult, family and educator programs. The executive director is responsible for strengthening and sustaining constituent, donor and alumni relations across the CLV network. The executive director is also responsible for promoting and advancing synergy between CLV with other collegiate divisions.
