While there are no classes on Monday, October 12, join BSU’s American Indigenous Business Leaders (AIBL) student organization for Dagwaagin Deals, the annual fall market! Shop local and Indigenous vendors, support small businesses and celebrate community.

Congratulations to our May 2026 pre-licensure nursing cohort on achieving a 100% first-time pass rate on the NCLEX!

This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication and preparation of our nursing students, as well as the commitment of the BSU Nursing faculty who helped prepare them for this next step in their careers.

We’re proud to celebrate this incredible accomplishment and the future nurses who are ready to make a difference in their communities. 💚

A new apprenticeship model at Bemidji State University is helping elementary-school paraprofessionals take the next step toward becoming licensed teachers, with a pathway that allows students to complete their bachelor’s degree in three years while continuing to work in the schools they already know.

The program gives paraprofessionals credit for their work experience and helps address barriers like cost, scheduling and access to support. Since launching its first cohort in 2025 with 13 students, the program has grown rapidly, with enrollment projected to exceed 60 students by summer 2027.
