At Sen Lin Hu, the great outdoors is part of the classroom! Getting outside can boost engagement and help make learning more memorable. When villagers learn through movement, exploration, and real-world experiences, those new words and ideas have a way of sticking with them long after they leave.

Every cabin needs a signature sound! 📣

At Sen Lin Hu, each cabin creates a chant using their cabin name in Chinese and shares it with the whole camp at opening campfire. That chant becomes a way to cheer each other on, gather the cabin, and head off to the next adventure together🏕️

As the Lunar New Year season comes to a close, Chinese-speaking communities around the world celebrate with one final holiday filled with light, food, and time together: 元宵节 Yuánxiāo Jié (Lantern Festival).

In this month’s newsletter, we’re highlighting this beautiful tradition and sharing a short video showing how the festival is celebrated in Taiwan. We’re also sharing session dates for summer 2026 at 森林湖 Sēn Lín Hú.
