On Wednesday, the Belvidere FFA Chapter hosted its 3rd “Barnyard Day” in the Ag Shop as part of FFA Week, with Belvidere FFA members showcasing their animals for over 300 BHS and BES students. For our elementary students, our FFA members provided facts about the animals and what they are raised for. For our high school students and fellow FFA members, our FFA members explained what it takes to raise their animals and how it ties into their Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs).

On Friday, the Belvidere FFA Chapter capped off FFA Week 2026 by having our 4th Annual "Bring Your Tractor to School" Day, which featured tractors owned and operated by members of our chapter. We also enjoyed the opportunity to get our members together at lunch to celebrate the week with cake.

ATTENTION CITRUS FRUIT PURCHASERS:
Our Citrus Fruit pickup will take place on THURSDAY, 12/11, from 2:30-5:00pm in the Ag Shop, located behind the BHS gymnasium. If you ordered your fruit from a FFA member, they will deliver your fruit to you. If you purchased your fruit through Matt Duckworth, please come to school to pick up your fruit on Thursday, or call Matt at (908) 475-4025 ext. 1131 or email [email protected] if you need to make other arrangements. Belvidere FFA had a great day competing in three CDEs—Land Judging, Fruits and Vegetables, and Milk Quality & Products—on Thursday, November 20th at Rutgers University. Great job to all the members who represented our chapter!

The Belvidere FFA is always happy to assist the Good Will Fire Company #1 with collecting toys for the less fortunate in our community each year. Please support this great cause by dropping off toys at the listed box locations or by sending in toys with your student!

It’s that time of year again when we collect toys for the families of Belvidere. Boxes have been placed at Food Mart, PNC Bank, both Skoogy’s locations, and Bagelsmith. All toy boxes will be collected on Friday December 5th. We appreciate the support the community has given us with this toy drive every year! 🎄🎁
