First Day of school is in the books!

Twas the night before school, and all through the house,
The kids were excited—yes, even the mouse! 🐭

Backpacks were packed and laid by the door,
New shoes were waiting right there on the floor. 👟

The crayons were sharpened, the pencils were new,
And everyone wondered, “What will tomorrow bring too?” ✏️

Pirates were ready, with smiles big and bright,
For the first day of school was almost in sight! 🏴‍☠️💜💛

So snuggle up tight and get ready for bed,
With sweet dreams of friends and adventures ahead.

Tomorrow’s the day—hip, hip, hooray!

🛑 Stop for school buses! 🚌

When the red lights flash and the stop arm extends, traffic in both directions must come to a complete halt. No shortcuts, no passing, no exceptions.

📸 Starting this school year, every BSD #124 bus running regular routes is equipped with new stop-arm cameras mounted on the outside of the buses. These cameras automatically capture any driver who bypasses a stopped bus, keeping our kids safe as they step on and off. Let's work together to protect our Pirates every morning and afternoon.

Slow down, stay alert, and stop for the bus! 🚌💜
