This month in our Exploratorium, we are investigating all things Ooey Gooey! Today, our children discovered what happens when you pick up oobleck!

Today our Whales classroom took a stroll through our Exploratorium to see all of our prehistoric pals!

Last week the Gorillas, Chimps and Pandas prepared a list of questions to ask Firefighters! On Friday the Belton Fire Department came in to answer some of their questions and give them a tour of their firetruck. The children learned about fire safety at home and at school, discussing the ways we would exit incase of a fire. Thank you Belton Fire Department for coming and sharing your knowledge with our Pre-K children.

For the month of February, Creative World is learning about people we know! Our Lions classroom met with Captain Loring from the Sugar Creek Police Department on Friday to ask him questions about what he does in his field of work. "I learned that Police Officers don't just catch bad guys, they help good people too." -CW Belton Lion

For the month of January the Gorilla classroom voted to learn about sports. To showcase what they learned this month they played a game of soccer in the Exploratorium! The Gorillas invited the Chimps classroom and staff from the office to watch them play! ⚽

Our featured family for the month of January is the Brontoli's! We love having them and their boys be apart of our Creative World family!

We joined the Creative World family four years ago. We have three crazy boys, ages 2, 4, and 6 who are full of energy and can be a bit wild at times. We've been in every room from infant to school age and they've always taken great care of our kiddos. I get to hear about the good days and not so good days, which are always handled with patience and grace from the staff. I appreciate everything they've done for us as they help us balance our daily lives! -Christina Brontoli

"Black and White" Fact: Did you know? Zebras are herbivores and spend most of their day eating grass, and sometimes leaves, shrubs, twigs, and bark. Their teeth are well adapted for grazing, with sharp incisors at the front of their mouth to bite the grass, and large molars at the back for crushing and grinding.

At Creative World School, we don't set limits on what children should know or are "ready for". We believe that rich, purposeful content is the foundation for learning. Our curriculum integrates a three-core learning approach, or what we call "The Three E's": Education, Exploration, and Enrichment!

The Chimps classroom asked the question "Where does the food in the kitchen come from?", to better help them understand they took a tour of our kitchen! Ms. Rachel helped answer questions about the kitchen and helped facilitate their bingo scavenger hunt!

"To the Grocery Store" Fact: Did you know? Potatoes were the first food to be grown in space! In 1996, potato plants were taken into space with the Columbia space shuttle!

Last night we celebrated our Pies for Parents! We had so much fun sharing the yummy goodness with some of our families and can't wait to do it again soon! 🥧

Today, we thank our Veterans for their service. Their bravery, courage, and sacrifice allow our children to "Dream Big".

Our featured family for the month of November is the Tewell family! We absolutely adore them and their girls!
