Workforce development is a vital part of economic development. At Belton EDC, we support our local workforce by expanding skill sets and educating students about careers in manufacturing through the Manufacturing Day Initiative and our Industry Training Program.

Belton EDC has contributed more than $11 million to infrastructure improvements since 2016, enhancing quality of life and expanding opportunities for business growth.

Belton EDC proudly partners with and supports our local industries. Belton manufacturers produce a wide range of products, including custom boxes, augers, piping, promotional products, glass doors, manufactured homes, furniture, 3D-printed products, and more.

What is economic development? It is the process of strengthening a local economy through Job Creation, Business Retention and Growth, Infrastructure Investment, and workforce development.
