Burt Hall (UMHB)

As a female residence hall, Burt Hall was built in 1920 and named for Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Burt, who donated $100,000. It was renovated in 1992.

It is the largest female hall on campus, and each room has a bath in suite. The hall is said to be built before it’s time because of the bath in suite design. The design was later copied by other college architects.
