It is with great sadness that I must announce the closing of the school. Due to the effects of the Covid 19 Virus, we are unable to continue operating at this point. We hope to reopen at some point in the future.

BMAA Virtual Training Tots/White/Yellow Belt 4/20/20

I think last night’s Facebook Live classes went well. Wednesday night we will be working on Forms. Additionally, we will dual broadcast in both Zoom and Facebook Live. If you have not downloaded Zoom, please do so. Also, as soon as you register your copy, please send me the email that you used to register it. I will then add you and send you an email invitation to the classes that you are eligible to attend.

*NOTE: Please do not share the Zoom login on any social media or through email with anyone who is not a student. Our Grandmaster had this happen and it severely effected the band width of the session.

Due to an overwhelming response to my proposal, we will begin virtual training on Monday, April 6th. We will do this training 2 days per week on Monday and Wednesday. Initially, we will do this training through Facebook Live, however, I am working on setting up an app called Zoom. Using Zoom will allow us to have 2 way communication. You will be able to see me, and I will be able to see you. While we are using Facebook Live, you will only be able to see me. The schedule for training will be as follows on both Monday and Wednesday:

5:45 pm - 6:15 pm Karat-a-Tots, White Belts and Yellow Belts
6:30 pm - 7:00 pm Orange Belts
7:15 pm - 7:45 pm Green Belts
8:00 pm - 8:30 pm Red Belts and Dans

Adult students will need to tune in during the time listed above for their Belt Color.

If you would like, you can go ahead and download the Zoom app so that you will be ready when I get it figured out and configured. Until then, Just go to Belton Martial Arts Academy page to join the virtual training. Please send a little message to let me know that you are viewing the training.

UNIFORMS NOT REQUIRED!!!!!!

Based on the below article, Belton Martial Arts Academy will comply with Bell Counties directives beginning at Midnight tonight. We will be open tonight, but will close after the last class until the county lifts this directive. I will keep everyone posted to the best of my ability.

Bell County issues public state of disaster in response to coronavirus threat County Judge David Blackburn said due to the spread of coronavirus and five cases now in Bell County, he was issuing a local state of disaster.

Great day of Dan Testing and clinics today. Thank you to Kwan Jang Nim DiScipio for making the trip from Massachusetts to Texas.
