Cambridge Elementary PTO

Come out and join us for Back to School Night. Thursday, August 17 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Students will be able to meet their teacher, check out their new classrooms and drop off any school supplies. Parents stop by the office and pick up your 23/24 Car Rider signs. This sign will need to be shown when picking up your students in the car lane.

Can’t wait to see all our little pirates!!!

Hy-Vee PTO Table Your Cambridge PTO will be at Hy-Vee on Saturday August 5th. A portion of each item we promote sold will go direct to our PTO. We need volunteers for this event. Slots are only one hour and afterward you can do your shopping.

We have three spots open. It will be a fun day, the Hy-Vee Vendor Fair is happening. Work the table for an hour and then check out the vendors.

Hey CES families we could still use a few people next Wednesday for Pirate Pride Day!

Pride Day Celebration We are gearing up for our final Pirate Pride Day on Wednesday, May 24th. We need help with the sno-cones, Moon Bounce, popcorn and some friendly faces walking around to make sure all is running smooth.

Thank you Hy-Vee for donating plastic bags and lending us a bag holder for our BOGO book fair! It has made things go much faster.

Scholastic Book Fairs

Just a reminder we have two events this week! The BOGO Book Fair sale will start tomorrow and resume on Friday then again on Saturday from 10am-1pm.

Tomorrow evening at 5pm we will be nominating and voting in our 2023-2024 PTO Board. Please come see us, chat with us, throw out ideas and nominate! We will be in the cafeteria.

Interested in being on the CES PTO Board for 2023-2024? Come to our meeting on Thursday, May 18th at 5:00PM in the cafeteria. We will nominate and vote on positions that evening. If you are not interested in being on the board but want to be involved please come and introduce yourself and share your thoughts.

What a great day at Hy-Vee. We promoted the best cookie…a brookie! It was so fun chatting with our amazing community while earning dollars for our amazing PTO!

What an amazing turnout for our Morning with Mom, thank you ALL for your patience. Keep in mind this was our first go round, we learned some things and discovered donuts are the winner. Thank you to those of you that let the PTO board moms go first so that they could have time with their kids before jumping in to work. Next year will be even better! We will continue to have Donuts with Dads in the Fall and this event but we plan to add Grandfriends Day as well.

Now for the shout outs! We could not have done this without the generoisty of Hy-Vee, QuikTrip Distribution Belton, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers and Hy-Vee Belton Starbucks. BIG Daddys Donuts saved us last minute by providing emergency donuts. Thank you all, we are so fortunate to have such an amazing community.

Thank you to our PTO Board and extra shout out to Heather Slusher for the beautiful set up. This was all her vision and she executed it perfect. And of course all of the Cambridge Elementary School staff that helped us out. Mr. Jason, Coach, Dr. Biondo, Mr. Adams, Cindy Noyes.....we love you all.

Come see us today at Hy-Vee, we will be promoting their Brookies! Half brownie, half chocolate chip cookie. Every carton sold earns us $1.00, our goal is to sell all 115 boxes! We will be there from 10-4 today only.

Hy-Vee PTO Opportunity Hy-Vee in Belton is allowing us to stand at a table in their store to promote a bakery item. For each purchase we will receive a portion to go directly to our PTO. Please wear your Cambridge gear and kids are welcome!
