Yvonne Perry is the 2026 Orenda Elementary Teacher of the Year!

Yvonne is completing her 2nd year with Orenda. One of the campus administrators shared, “Mrs. Perry exemplifies what it means to be an exceptional educator. She generously shares her knowledge, conducts herself with the highest levels of professionalism and kindness, and engages fully in all that she does. I have worked alongside Mrs. Perry many times, and always walk away with more knowledge, support, and help than I could ever have expected.”

Her principal at Nolan Creek, Dr. Gamble said, “Yvonne utilizes data-driven instruction to meet students where they are. She creates a high-expectation environment where students feel safe taking academic risks. Whether through small-group instruction, personalized learning plans, or personalized feedback, she ensures that every student regardless of their starting point sees measurable growth over the course of the year.”

In addition to teaching, Yvonne has been actively involved in community events for Nolan Creek School and serves as the Student Council advisor.
