Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School

The Boylan Catholic High School band performed for us last week. They were great! 🤗 Band members showed us how they can make funny noises with their instruments! 🎺🎷🥁🎸🪇

Last week, on Monday, Mr Dave performed his funny songs for the daycare kids and the 4K through 2nd graders. It was a very interactive program. The room was filled with laughter.

Today, we created sentences using sight words and brought them to life with illustrations.

We have been working hard on adding to 20. We are ready for subtraction now!😁

We work hard, but playing together is our favorite activity!

During "Teach and Tell" time, a student became a teacher and taught us all about Beluga Whales🐳

Practicing reading to stuffies is FUN! 📚

Pussywillows are one of the first signs of Spring, so we made our own.

The 8th graders presented the Living Stations on the altar. It was a beautiful and prayerful experience.

Due to the dangerous weather, all Queen of Martyrs campuses,
including OLA School and Child Care, are closed Monday, March 16, 2026.

However, our noon Mass at St. Thomas WILL still take place.

Weather permitting, we will reopen Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
