Today we’re celebrating someone truly special as we wish Ms. Ruby a joyful and well-deserved retirement from bus driving! 🚌💛

For years, Ms. Ruby has been a steady, caring, and familiar face—making sure children arrived safely, greeted with kindness, and sent off with a warm smile each day. Her patience, dedication, and calm presence have meant more than words can fully capture.

She’s been more than a driver—she’s been a protector, a comfort, and a bright part of so many mornings and afternoons. Families trusted her, children adored her, and staff appreciated her unwavering commitment to safety and care.

While we will certainly miss seeing her on the route, we are so excited for this next chapter ahead. Retirement is well earned, and we hope it brings Ms. Ruby plenty of rest, joy, and all the things she’s been looking forward to.

Please join us in thanking Ms. Ruby for her incredible years of service and wishing her the happiest retirement! 💐🚍

Tip Tuesday!

Reading with your child for just 15 minutes a day can help build:
📖 Language skills
💡 Imagination
❤️ Strong family connections

You don’t have to read every word perfectly — talking about the pictures, asking questions, and letting your child tell the story all support early literacy skills!

Try these fun questions while reading together:
✨ “What do you think happens next?”
✨ “How do you think the character feels?”
✨ “Can you find something red on this page?”

Every moment spent reading together matters! 💙

Motivation Monday 🌟

At Head Start, every day is a chance to learn, grow, and shine! 💙

From building friendships to learning new skills, our classrooms and home visiting programs help children and families thrive together. Early learning builds confidence, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong success!

✨ This week, try asking your child:

“What made you smile today?”
“What did you learn today?”
“Who did you play with today?”

Small conversations make a BIG impact. 💬
