If you’ve been wondering about all the action going on at the stadium this weekend… the Lampert Pavilion is getting a major spruce-up!

Todd Dunstan with Luxelawn Landscape & Irrigation and his crew have been sweating their tails off, working hard to make this area something truly special. Their hard work, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in and help bring this vision to life are so appreciated!

A HUGE shoutout to Todd and his crew for putting in some long, hot hours this weekend!

And an even bigger THANK YOU to Bob Lampert and his family, whose generosity made the Lampert Pavilion possible in the first place. This space is such a wonderful addition to the Matous Family Sports Complex and will be enjoyed by Trojan fans and our community for years to come.

Things are really starting to come together, and we can’t wait for everyone to see the finished product!

Stay tuned… there’s more to come on this awesome project very soon!

If you’ve ever worked in the former Beloit High press box…this photo might just bring a tear to your eye.

No more climbing those inverted stairs that felt steeper than a ladder! šŸ˜…

Today, we’re excited to give you a sneak peek inside the new Class of 1995 Press Box, and what an incredible transformation it has become. A huge shoutout to Schroeder Building for getting the structure framed, Bergman Electric for all of the electrical work, and Watts for bringing the heating and air systems to life. The craftsmanship is second to none, and it’s already every bit as impressive on the inside as it is from the road.

And we’re not done yet…

Coming soon are the signature orange and black finishes to tie everything together with the concession stand, along with some amazing additions to the Lampert Family Pavilion that we can’t wait to share.

It’s hard to believe we’re entering the final stretch of this incredible journey. What began as a dream has become something our entire community can be proud of. Every donor, volunteer, contractor, supporter, and Trojan fan has helped make this vision a reality.

Trojan Field at the Matous Family Sports Complex is quickly becoming a destination that will serve generations of students, athletes, and families. September 11 can’t get here soon enough!

Before we know it, the next 44 days are going to transform the Matous Family Sports Complex in incredible ways.

On September 11, we’ll officially kick off Phase III, marking another exciting milestone in this once-in-a-generation project for our community.

This photo offers just a small glimpse of what’s ahead. These are the Trojan Way commemorative bricks currently being crafted by Bell Memorial (and trust us… we’ll be sharing much more about that very soon!). Every brick represents the generosity, pride, and legacy of the people who believe in the future of our Beloit Family. The brick in the middle holds a special place in many hearts!

If you think what’s happened so far has been exciting, just wait. The best is still to come.

Hold on tight, Trojan Family… we’re just getting started.

ā™»ļøšŸ’š Nothing Goes to Waste When Great Minds Get to Work! šŸ’šā™»ļø

One of the things that makes Mitchell County so special is the incredible ability of our community to see opportunity where others might see leftovers.

A huge shout-out to our local Mitchell County 4-H clubs for repurposing the leftover scraps from the new football field turf at the Matous Family Sports Complex! Instead of letting those pieces go unused, this hardworking crew carefully fit each section together like a giant puzzle to create a beautiful livestock show arena for this year’s fair.

Now that’s resourcefulness. That’s teamwork. And that’s some seriously creative thinking!

It’s a wonderful reminder that with a little vision, hard work, and collaboration, something that was once considered scrap can become something that will serve our community in a whole new way.

šŸ‘ Hats off to our incredible 4-H families for your ingenuity, your work ethic, and your willingness to roll up your sleeves to make something great. You continue to represent everything that makes 4-H so special—leadership, service, responsibility, and a can-do attitude.

šŸ€ Best of luck to all of our Mitchell County 4-H exhibitors during Fair Week! We can’t wait to see all of your hard work on display. We’re cheering you on every step of the way! šŸŒ¾šŸ„šŸ–šŸ’š

šŸ—ļø Class of 1995 Press Box Update šŸ—ļø

With another week of progress in the books, it’s exciting to see the new Class of 1995 Press Box at Trojan Field at the Matous Family Sports Complex really beginning to take shape. What started as a vision on paper is quickly becoming a landmark that will serve our students, athletes, coaches, media, and fans for generations to come.

Each day brings another glimpse of what this incredible structure will add to our facility, and it’s been so rewarding to watch the craftsmanship and attention to detail unfold. Schroeder Building has done an outstanding job bringing this project to life. Their expertise, workmanship, and commitment to excellence are evident in every phase of construction, and it’s been a pleasure watching their vision become reality one day at a time.

To our Trojan family, thank you for your continued excitement, patience, and support as construction moves forward. We can’t wait to share the finished product with all of you this fall. Stay tuned—it’s only getting better from here!

✨ It Takes a Team Behind the Scenes ✨

Creating a project that truly honors the incredible generosity of the donors who helped make the Matous Family Sports Complex a reality doesn’t happen by chance. It takes countless meetings, brainstorming sessions, revisions, and more revisions—all with one goal in mind: making sure every person who invested in this dream is recognized in a meaningful and beautiful way.

The individuals around this table have spent hours planning, re-planning, collaborating, and challenging one another’s ideas to ensure the donor recognition signage reflects the pride, gratitude, and lasting legacy this project deserves. Their open communication, creativity, and attention to detail are helping create something that will stand the test of time while honoring the many families, businesses, and supporters who made this vision possible.

To this incredible group—thank you for your dedication to getting every detail just right for our Trojan family. Your commitment to excellence shines through, and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

šŸ‘€ Stay tuned… it’s getting good!
