Updated Registration Period Dates:
The priority registration period (see post below for details) will now open on Monday, May 4 and run through Sunday, May 17. Open enrollment will begin on Wednesday, May 20.

What this means for you:
The application request link for priority groups (incoming kindergartners and their siblings who will be in grades 1, 2 or 3 at Butler next year and are not currently enrolled in BEDP) will open on May 4. Check back her for the link then, or go to our website: www.bedp.org on May 4.

Currently enrolled children in grades K-3 will receive applications directly and do not need to complete the application request form.

All others may request applications using the link starting on May 20.

BEDP The Butler Extended Day Program is a school age before and after school program serving students in kindergarten through grade 3 at the Daniel Butler elementary school in Belmont, Massachusetts. The program is licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Parents of children who will be entering kindergarten at the Daniel Butler School in September:
Registration for the Butler Extended Day Program opens on Friday, May 1. Go to our website: www.bedp.org to request an application. The link to the application request will be on the Enrollment page beginning on May 1. The link that is up now is for the current school year. Please do not use that link.

You may request an application for your incoming kindergartner and for siblings who will be in grades 1-3 at Butler in fall and are not currently enrolled in BEDP. If your child is enrolled in BEDP this year and will be in grade 1, 2 or 3 next year, you will receive an application for 2026-27 through Brightwheel.

If your child will be going to the Chenery Upper Elementary school next fall, you will need to apply to BASEC for after school care. Here is a link to the BASEC website. https://belmontbasec.org/
