Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓

Reflecting on a wonderful Baccalaureate service this past Friday! It was the perfect eve of commencement for the Class of 2026. We were honored to hear words from retiring faculty member John McAlpin and Form VI speaker Thomas Danahy. Following the program, families gathered in the Melvoin Academic Center to view the newly installed carved panels.

🏆🏆What a weekend for former Belmont Hill lacrosse players! Our alumni didn’t just compete on the biggest stages in college lacrosse this weekend—they walked away with the hardware. Huge congratulations to our former student-athletes who just capped off incredible seasons with their teams!🥍

BACK-TO-BACK STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆🏆

Huge congratulations to the Belmont Hill Sailing team on defending their title as the Massachusetts State Champions! ⛵️

Competing against 23 schools at the Mass Bay League Carl Zimba regatta early in the week, James Chaytors and Panos Gianoukos took home the fleet racing A-Division championship, while Roger Wellington and Ilan Turevsky captured the B-Division championship. On Thursday at MIT, the team secured the overall State Championship. 👏👏👏👏

Celebrating our college-bound student-athletes! Belmont Hill hosted a special breakfast for students and their families to honor their hard work. 💪

👏A huge thank you to Barry Gallup Jr. ‘06 for sharing his journey and offering invaluable advice on preparing for the college level and life beyond athletics.

🎵 From Tchaikovsky to Bruno Mars

The hard work of our Belmont Hill musicians took center stage at the Spring Concert. Led by Mr. Patterson and Mr. Fiori, over 70 students across our Orchestra, B-Flats, Jazz Ensembles, and Middle School Rock Band peformed. The musical celebration continued during a school day Community Block, wrapping up with a rapturous rendition of “Free Bird” by the Middle School Rock Band that brought the entire Chapel to its feet!

Congratulations to all of our talented musicians on a spectacular year-end performance!

📜 1776 → 2026

To commemorate the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, our students took to the Chapel stage for a recitation of the founding document! 🇺🇸

The program kicked off with History teacher Glenn Harvey diving into Massachusetts’ pivotal role in the revolution, followed by student performances both on stage and on video.
