So many great things happening to round out the school year! In honor of World Day for Cultural Diversity on May 21st, and with a grant from the Belmont Cultural Council, the Butler PTA will be purchasing books for your child's classroom. If you have any favorites, please let us know!

How else can you help? By Friday, May 20th, do any or all of these:

• Send Jona Papajani a video of your child reading a book that celebrates culture or heritage.

• Add a short video (less than 10 seconds) of your child saying a word or phrase (for example, hello, goodbye, enjoy your trip) to this slide deck.

• Add a recipe of something your family likes to make or eat to this slide deck.

Teacher Appreciation Week begins tomorrow!

The PTA has planned treats for each day (taco bar, frozen hoagies food truck, cookies), and we encourage families to participate in showering the wonderful Butler teachers and staff with appreciation!

Monday, May 2: You make us BLOOM!
Bring your teacher a flower (real or picture) to brighten their day!

Tuesday,
May 3: Teachers are NOTEWORTHY!
Write your teacher a note to let them know how special they are!

Wednesday,
May 4: TREAT your teacher!
Bring a special snack (individually wrapped) for your teacher!

Thursday, May 5: SUPPLY your teacher with thanks!
Bring in a class supply (cleaning wipes, hand sanitizer, dry erase markers etc.)

Friday, May 6:
Thanks are in the CARDS!
Bring your teacher a gift card or make a special card for your teacher!
