Acapella in Wellsville was part of our lesson today. Megan helped us to better understand the importance of business management, teamwork, and professionalism. She introduced us to Aveda, which smells amazing and the color formulating we thought was interesting. Eva demonstrated mens cutting, cutting tools, techniques, hair removal and designing challenging eyebrows. Mary and Maggie demonstrated with clientele and gave us tips. Wow! What an awesome, fun & talented team. Thank you all!

Yesterday we had the opportunity to travel to GOLDWELL NY. We toured their warehouse where our products and supplies come from. We learned about and experienced Bodyography make up 💄& The Amika products; used some new thermal tools and reviewed Colorance Demi Permanent Haircolor.
Ended our trip at Crumbl 🍪
Was a full day of fun education.

Today the new Senior Cosmetology students at all three of our CTE Centers attended a job fair specifically for our cosmetology students. Salon representatives came to recruit, inform, market, and allow our students to have experiences in filling out applications, interview processes, compensation, intro packages, and continuing education offered at local salons.
A huge thank you to Aquaria, Ray’s Hairstyling & Barber Shop, and Supercuts for spending the afternoon with us!

Today we have vivid fashion coloring services, bleach wash, highlighting, low lighting, free hand,foiling, and bayliage applications. Our juniors are going to be ready for clinic when we are able to accept appointments. Stay tuned for results!

Our juniors embraced braiding over the past few days. Another chapter successfully learned but not finished;education is never ending.

Cosmetology juniors worked hard to get through the “hairstyling” chapter. Tomorrow we test on finger waving. This group of young professionals do not complain and have great attitudes 😀
