This message is to remind you that all kindergarten immunizations and NC health assessments are due by the end of the school day on September 10, 2026. Your child will not be allowed to return to school beginning Sept. 11, 2026 and until they are completed. If you are unable to get an appointment with your child's doctor before the deadline, please call the Gaston County Health Department Immunization Clinic at 704-853-5003 to make an appointment asap. They are working diligently across the county to make certain our students are vaccinated and avoid school exclusion. The health assessment can be completed at local urgent care clinics across the county.

Kindergarten Meet the Teacher Friday 3:00-4:30. Enter through the cafeteria. Plan to arrive close to 3:00 due to first grade dismissal. If you are last name A-L, please try to arrive around 3:00. If you have a last name starting with M-Z, try to arrive around 3:45. That will allow time for you to have a parking space. If everyone arrives at 3:00, we will not have enough parking. This is a big kindergarten class. Thanks for understanding.

Happy Summer! We hope you and your family are enjoying a wonderful break.

As we begin preparing for the 2026-2027 school year, we ask that all families complete our Bus Transportation Form if their child may need school bus transportation next year. Our goal is to ensure that bus drivers have accurate routes established before the school year begins so they can learn their routes and safely transport students.

To support student safety and route consistency, we do not plan to make routine route changes during the first two weeks of school. Students will only be added to a route between August 1 and August 21 if there is already an existing stop at that location or if the bus driver determines the stop can be safely added to their current route.

Important Reminders
Page Primary and Belmont Central Elementary students ride the same buses in the morning and afternoon.
Even if your child was a bus rider in 2025-2026, you must complete a new transportation form for the 2026-2027 school year. Bus routes are newly created each year based on information submitted.
If you have more than one child, please complete a separate form for each student.
Forms submitted after July 31 at 8:00 PM cannot be guaranteed bus transportation during the first two weeks of school.

Please pay close attention to the Daycare/Afterschool Transportation section, as there is important information regarding transportation requests, annual transportation approvals, and locations that may require confirmation from the Gaston County Schools Transportation Department before service can be provided.

Kindergarten report cards will not be available until Wednesday due to a technical issue. Kindergarten teachers will send them home in folders Wednesday. First Grade report cards will still go home after awards day ceremonies.

Awards days: Tuesday May 19 for Kindergarten and Wednesday May 20 for Grade 1. Check with your teacher for the schedule. Report cards will go home with families as part of the grade level awards day events. If family members cannot attend, they may pick up report cards in the office from 8:00-3:00 until May 29 with proper identification. Kindergarten Mini-Camp May 21 for rising Kindergarteners.

Buenas tardes familias de la primaria de Page:

Agradecemos a todos aquellos que han saldado sus saldos de la cafetería. Todos los cargos de la cafetería vencen este martes. Días de entrega de premios: martes 19 de mayo para el nivel de Kínder y miércoles 20 de mayo para el 1.er grado. Por favor, consulte con la maestra de su hijo para conocer el horario. Los boletines de calificaciones se enviarán a casa con las familias como parte de los eventos del día de entrega de premios de cada nivel escolar. Si los familiares no pueden asistir, podrán recoger los boletines en la oficina, en un horario de 8:00 a. m. a 3:00 p. m., hasta el 29 de mayo, presentando la identificación correspondiente. Mini-campamento de Kínder: 21 de mayo, dirigido a los estudiantes que ingresarán a Kínder el próximo ciclo escolar.

Entrega de premios de kínder: 10:00 o 11:30 a. m. el 19 de mayo. Entrega de premios de primer grado: 10:30 a. m. o 12:00 p. m. el 20 de mayo. Consulte con la maestra de su hijo para confirmar el horario.
