As the summer drew to a close, we welcomed the Class of 2021 back to campus. They gathered to celebrate their class and to dedicate a bench in honor of their classmate, Dana Chang, who passed away in 2024. Friday Night Scoops! Join us on Friday, May 15, to cheer on the Blue & Gold lacrosse teams as they take on The Meadowbrook School! We get started a little earlier this year, with the boys playing at 4:00 p.m. and the girls at 5:30 p.m. Hope to see you there!

Massachusetts announced last month bold new action on clean energy, and a Belmont Day alum is helping to lead the charge.

Eric Juma '12, director of technology at HEET in Boston, is featured in a new video by the U.S. Climate Alliance and Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, spotlighting the state's work on networked geothermal energy and workforce development.

In the new issue of the BDS magazine, Eric reflects on how his passion for sustainability was sparked at Belmont Day, where the big picture was always part of the curriculum.

“BDS taught me to dream about what a better world could look like,” Eric says. “I’ve basically spent my life building toward that dream.”
