Located inside the Barrett Community Center, our program offers child care to fit your schedule. We have full-time and part-time and preschool program options. Our program is designed to provide children with the opportunity to experience the satisfaction of learning and the warmth of friendship. Activities provide growth in such areas as language, numbers, music, social skills, and the arts. A ba

lance between structured activities and self-directed play is incorporated into the young child's play. CLC staff includes multilingual enrichment in the curriculum. Languages include Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, and Tagalog. Our goals...

Flash-Back to the 50's in Belmont. Early Child Education. Belmont's first nursery school , Miles-Anderson Nursery School was located at the old City Hall site on 5th Avenue . The nursery school used the building in the morning and the City of Belmont used the building in the afternoon. Some the students were : Pamela Graetz, Jeremy Drotleff, John Hodges, Katherine Jones, Jim McCarthy, Mary Miles Pitt Reese, Jimmy Rhodes, Clinton Sterry, Jane Straley, and Jeanne Williams .
