This week, our Little Learners in Preschool 2 are exploring our October theme, My Emotions and Feelings!

After reading "The Color Monster," the children talked about different emotions and how each feeling can look and feel. They then created their very own emotion jars, using colors to represent feelings like happiness, sadness, and anger.

This hands-on activity gave our preschoolers a fun and meaningful way to identify, express, and talk about their emotions while building important social-emotional skills. We love helping our little learners discover that all feelings are okay and learning how to name them is an important first step!

This month, our Little Learners are exploring the wonderful world of emotions and feelings! Through playful activities and meaningful conversations, they are learning to recognize, express, and talk about how they feel.

Today, our Preppers had fun posing with different emotions, using their faces and body language to show happy, sad, excited, surprised, angry, and more! 😄😢😮😠

These experiences help children build emotional awareness, develop communication skills, and understand that all feelings are okay and can be expressed in healthy ways.

This October, our little learners here at The Learning Experience - Belmont are diving into My Emotions and Feelings, a curriculum theme designed to help children better understand what they’re feeling, express themselves, and build the social-emotional skills they’ll use every day. 🌈💬

With Miss Chievous by their side, children will explore the many emotions they experience and discover simple ways to navigate big feelings. ✨

Learning how to understand our feelings is an important part of learning how to care for ourselves, connect with others, and grow with confidence. 💕 We can't wait to see what this month of exploration and discovery brings! 🌱

This week, our toddlers are exploring all the things they love most! As part of our “My Favorite Things” weekly theme, our little artists put their creativity to work by drawing their favorite things in their journals.

✏️2️⃣ Learning numbers is so much fun! This month, our preschoolers are practicing how to write the number 2 in their L.E.A.P. Workbooks. Through hands-on practice, they’re building early math skills, strengthening fine-motor coordination, and gaining confidence in their writing. We’re so proud of these little learners!
