🎸 We are pleased to welcome Guilherme Foracchi to the Attacca Guitar Department! Beginning this summer, Guilherme will be teaching acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and group guitar lessons at Attacca.

A multifaceted performer, composer, and educator, Guilherme is originally from São Paulo, Brazil. He began studying classical guitar in his early teens before discovering a passion for jazz, which ultimately brought him to the United States.

Guilherme graduated from Berklee College of Music with a dual major in Performance and Jazz Composition, where he studied with renowned educators including Mick Goodrick and Richie Hart. Since then, he has made his home in the Boston area, performing throughout Massachusetts as a member of the Patten Street Duo alongside his wife and musical partner. He has also taught students of all ages and backgrounds, from elementary school children to retirees. Most recently, Guilherme earned his Master of Music degree from the Longy School of Music.

Guilherme strives to create a welcoming yet structured learning environment that fosters both self-discipline and a genuine love of music. His teaching philosophy emphasizes developing complete musicianship rather than focusing solely on technical exercises. Drawing from the Suzuki Method, Dalcroze Eurhythmics, improvisation, singing, and active listening, he helps students build strong foundations in rhythm, pitch, and musical expression. Through this balanced approach, students experience both the joy and dedication that inspire a lifelong appreciation of music.

Please join us in welcoming Guilherme to the Attacca community!
