According to the results from our Indigenous Futures Survey, the majority of participants agreed that improving mental health is most urgent.

Please scroll through the slides and also take time to see the short film TEKONA () about a young man who is faced with feelings of isolation, su***de, toxic masculinity, and stereotypes of Native people, he embraces the connection to his mother and the matriarchs who remind him to heal by using the tools of ancestral teachings and wisdom.

Co-directed by Tomás Karmelo Amaya () and Shalene Joseph (), the film is a collaboration between The Native Wellness (Native Wellness Institute]) and Art With Impact () with production by Indigenous and women-owned and operated, Kanion Productions ().
