Montessori, Everywhere | Vol. 1

Behind so many extraordinary people is the same story: a child who showed the world who they were at an early age and a parent who listened.

That’s the heart of Montessori, and it reaches far beyond the classroom. Our children don’t need to follow a certain or fit into a box we picture for them. As Maria Montessori wrote, “All work is noble.”

Our job isn’t to choose their gifts. It’s to notice them.

Less input and more listening. 🤍

This is the first in our new series, Montessori, Everywhere: how Montessori theory shows up in our culture, the world around us, and our everyday lives.

We’re very excited to welcome Dr. Kyle and Dr. Jill to The Well for a Birth Prep Workshop this November.

Both Dr. Kyle and Dr. Jill are two incredible practitioners who are masters of their work. This will be an incredibly informative morning of education for expecting parents.

Sensory Supper Club is here! Join this 6 week series for picket eaters with Miss Meg. This class promotes food confidence through sensory play, autonomy, and connection. Your child will grow more comfortable expiring new foods, leading to less mealtime stress!

Class runs 9/24-10/29 and is ideal for ages 3.5+

About your teacher: Bio for the well

Meg is an Occupational Therapist, personal trainer, surfer, and Belmar local who has been working with children and families since 2018. With experience in sensory integration, feeding therapy, and developmental play across hospital, home, and outpatient settings, Meg loves creating playful environments where kids can explore, connect, and build their confidence!

Through sensory play, food exploration, movement, and nature-based experiences, she brings her clinical expertise and her belief that the best learning happens through curiosity, creativity, and a little bit of mess. 🤍
