Pottery Studio We are a local studio that offers various clay working experiences and offers classes for beginners through advanced potters.

Our goal is to foster a creative environment dedicated to building a community of ceramic artists while furthering public appreciation of the ceramic arts.

WORKSHOP AVAILABLE! Join us Saturday with visiting artist Mary Kay Botkins for this wonderful folded forms workshop.

Workshop Date: Saturday 10/10

Time: 10:00pm-3:00pm (hour break for lunch)

Manipulate soft clay slabs into functional forms while exploring both architectural and organic shapes. Investigate how different added elements such as handles and feet can change the personality of your pottery. Finish your pieces with simple glazing and techniques. All levels welcome.

Create a unique b**r stein out of clay slabs! Our skilled instructors will take you step by step to design and assemble your very own stein to be filled with b**r upon pickup at Beach Haus Brewery.

This class is for ages 21+. Any participants without a valid ID at pickup will not be served. Pickup will be at Beach Haus Brewery on Sunday 10/4 between 12PM -6 PM.

This past weekend, Instructor Jon Hem led our team through our very first studio wood firing! 🔥

Countless hours of making, hundreds of pots, and a whole lot of sweat went into this incredible event. After months of preparation and anticipation, the kiln is now cooling and we’re anxiously awaiting the big unload this coming weekend.

We can’t wait to see what the fire has created. 🏺🔥

Congratulation’s to Lisa on her participation in AMOCA’s Fractured Foundations: 250 Years of American History Exhibition that is showing now through November. If you find yourself in the LA area make sure to visit Lisa’s work along with a collection of other amazing artists.

AMOCA’s exhibition Fractured Foundations coincides with the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. For this exhibition, AMOCA invited ceramic artists to reconsider a historical event through the lens of contemporary art, challenging historical narratives and offering a more accurate perspective on our country. It’s a powerful and meaningful show that we were honored to be able to witness and have our very own Lisa take part in.

And yes! THE FLAGS ARE CERAMIC!!! 🤯

Join us this summer in our offsite wood firing!

Wood firing is one of the oldest ceramic traditions, where flame, ash, and time work together to create surfaces that cannot be replicated in electric or gas kilns. 🔥

Unloaded teapots from our all level 6-week class along with a few other fun pieces today. What a beautiful kiln haul! 😍
