🥾Last week we had a field trip to the Mohican State Park Covered Bridge to learn about water quality. Special thank you to the following organizations that spent the day teaching students about macro-invertebrates, stream velocity, aquatic indicator species, and water testing:

🌳Ohio Division of Natural Areas and Preserves
🏞️Ohio Scenic Rivers Association
🌊USGS Science in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana

Thank you for such a great educational event put on by the Buckeye Chapter of the GPAA and for hosting Ohio Gold Rush Days.
Students had a hands-on opportunity to learn about the history of Ohio geology and were able handle rare artifacts, collected by members of the GPAA.

🥇 The Richland County fair is winding down. There’s still one more day to support the kids and all their efforts. The livestock sale is on Saturday.

Congratulations to those who competed in the showman of showman and to everyone who did such a great job representing the Clear Fork FFA chapter.
