3rd grade practiced opinion writing today by deciding which dessert is better, ice cream or cookies! Of course, they had to enjoy a treat from Mrs. Emily while they worked! 😋

📚 HEY, PARENTS!

What if ONE HOUR tomorrow night could give you tools to help your child grow as a reader for years to come?

We know life is busy. We really do.

But reading is bigger than a grade on a report card.

Reading is the key that helps children learn, understand the world around them, and become more confident, independent learners.

And here’s the best part:

It doesn’t matter where your child is right now.

Maybe they LOVE to read.
Maybe reading is hard for them.
Maybe they’re still building confidence.
Maybe they have a disability that makes reading more difficult.

Literacy Night is for ALL of them. ❤️

Research shows that when families are involved in their child’s literacy development, children benefit. And you don’t have to be a reading expert to help!

Come for one hour.
See what your child is learning.
Learn simple things you can do at home.
Ask questions.
Be part of the team.

One hour. One child. One more person in their corner.

📖 We need YOU tomorrow night. We can’t wait to see you!

👮‍♂️👩‍⚕️🚒 Community Helper Day in Pre-K! 🚑👷‍♂️💙

Pre-K had such a fun day learning all about the amazing people who help our community each and every day! 🏡✨

Our students dressed up as their favorite community helpers and got to visit with several special helpers from right here in our town. They loved learning about their jobs, seeing some of the tools and equipment they use, and discovering all the different ways they help keep our community safe, healthy, and strong! ❤️

A BIG thank you to all of our community helpers who took the time to visit with our Pre-K students and make their day extra special! 🥰
