Hey 👋🏽 I’m starting to finally advertise my organization and declutterring business again. I am a self taught/lifelong organization and decluttering person. I have been doing it all my life, and so many people ask me for help that I finally decided to start a side hustle business doing something I love and that comes naturally to me.

45 Minute Consultation is $50
Hourly rate is $65 with a 2-hour minimum.

During the consultation, we will determine the vision for the job and discuss whether we need additional furniture, supplies, or materials; then I can provide an estimated time for completion.

Most of the time, we have to start with purging, and I let the client decide whether they want me to do it with them or do it on their own.

This Saturday I was in my happy place - serving as a Parliamentarian and doing a Decorum workshop for a community board.

I fully enjoyed myself - even dealing with difficult situations - I find a lot of joy in helping people and organizations using Robert’s Rules of Order or even just a little common sense. Having a different perspective can really help someone else see an issue from a different vantage point and allow for some clarity and insight.

Being a Parliamentarian is not always an easy job but it’s always fulfilling. I always feel accomplished when I see the lightbulb come on and the light in the eyes of the people I’m working with.

If your organization needs a Parliamentary Procedure workshop, a mediation session, a conflict resolution meeting, or help with a conference or one-on-one Officer or Chairperson training please let me know. I’d be happy to help.

Multiple Myeloma is a type of blood cancer that disproportionately impacts African Americans. My mother Delilah Dupree (1949-2000) succumbed from this disease. Gratefully, no one else has been diagnosed with MM in my family, but knowing your family history is extremely important. Have yearly blood tests and if they begin to look suspicious, talk openly with me and your doctors about it.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for this evening into tomorrow. Parts of Long Island may experience 5 to 8 inches of total snowfall with locally higher amounts possible. This may result in difficult travel, especially during Tuesday morning.

Nassau County has provided updated warming center locations, noted below. The Nassau County Office of Emergency Management is monitoring changes related to this weather event. After 4:30PM Monday through Friday, on weekends, and holidays the DSS Emergency Services Unit can be reached at 631-854-9100. If you have any questions or concerns reach out to Suffolk County by calling their non-emergency number at 311.
