The Leash Pulling Myth

🐾 Did you know many owners accidentally teach their dogs to pull on the leash?

Simple in an effort to keep the dog safe from getting hit by a car or jumping on strangers they tighten the leash holding the dog close. The problem is that dogs naturally go in the opposite direct of the leash tension. I.E. if you pull back on the leash they pull forward

Proper leash training starts with both you and your dog. First teaching your dog the heal position and you how to properly hold the leash

🐾 Board & Train Program

For the past 15 years, Diamond in the Ruff Dog Training has helped dogs learn the skills they need to become better companions.

Your dog will live directly with the trainer during our 2-5 week Board & Train program, receiving hands-on training every day.

We're known for training around distractions—because if your dog can listen in the real world, listening at home becomes much easier.

Dog Requirements:
✔️ At least 4 months old
✔️ Comfortable in a crate
✔️ At least 50% potty trained preferred
