🍁 Fall fun on a beautiful afternoon! On Friday, our Kindergarteners enjoyed the sunshine and took a fun-filled trip to White Post Farms! Pumpkin picking, a hayride and feeding the animals were highlights of the day, and for some of our students, it was also their first time on a big yellow school bus!

Thank you to Mrs. Pugliese, Mrs. DeCrescenzo and all our parent chaperones for such a wonderful experience! 🎃

Father Luke spent time with our 8th graders as they read Elie Wiesel’s Night. Together, they had a candid discussion about Elie’s journey and what it means to wrestle with faith during dark times. Grateful for Father Luke’s guidance in helping our students connect history, literature, and faith in meaningful ways.

🍎🍏 Mrs. Woll’s Pre-K class had so much fun celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day last week!

Mr. McDonagh stopped by dressed as Johnny Appleseed and read students a story all about him. 📖

The fun continued with an apple taste test! Our Pre-K students sampled apple slices, apple juice and applesauce, then voted for their favorite apple treat.

Last week, our 4th graders took learning outside the classroom and explored the historic Fire Island Lighthouse, bringing their New York State and Long Island history lessons to life. They climbed all 182 steps to the top and were rewarded with beautiful views of the ocean, bay, and Long Island. Lots of wildlife was spotted as well! Thank you to Miss Gallego and our parent chaperones for a great trip.

This morning, our SEAS students came together as a school and faith community to celebrate, honor, and pray for Venerable Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen on the day of his beatification! 🙏

What a special opportunity for our students to learn more about his remarkable life of faith and service and to join together in prayer on this historic day for the Church. May his example inspire all of us to continue to grow in faith and share God’s love with others.
