There’s nothing simple about Lashing 👇

“It’s not rocket science” 🚀 this person exclaimed to me. Although, they needed my expertise right. SMH 🤦🏻‍♀️

It isn’t, it’s true. 💡 BUT there is SO much SCIENCE that factors into safe and healthy lashing.

You see a touch of moisture in the air mixed with the key ingredient of all lash glue will polymerize and create a bond.
Too much moisture in the air, it lessens the bond.

Creating a Lash environment with thee right amount of humidity (moisture in the air) will yield strong bonds.

Not rocket science but still science.

How to regulate?
1.) you need a Hydrometer
This reads the % of humidity
2.) Lash adhesives from a reputable manufacturer come with Temperature and Humidity levels best used for that particular adhesive
3.) Always test adhesive on a practice mannequin to ensure quality (even if it’s a brand you trust)
4.) A dehumidifier can aid with reducing humidity in lashing area (read up on the size you made need for the space you conduct your lash service)

Even though I use a UV LED light to cure my adhesive, I still consider the humidity levels to ensure best retention for clients.
