After a leadership workshop for our Drum Majors, a Color Guard mini-camp, a Drumline/Front Ensemble mini-camp, and two weeks of Full Band camp. The band has learned 15 sets of drill, and rehearsed 3 movements of music!! The band has set a good pace for this year and the director staff is very excited to see where this group goes this year.

Today was the last day of summer activities so the student leaders decided to have a water balloon war to cap everything off and beat the heat.

A special thanks to Mrs. Darst and Mr. Andrew’s for their technical support in Color Guard and Percussion!!

Parents we are having a meeting on August 17 at 6:00PM in the High School cafeteria. After the meeting we will be performing a Marching showcase of what we have learned so far in our 2026 production entitled “Birds of a Feather”. We hope to see you all there!!

Starting this fall, all sporting events will be cashless, except for tournaments we host.

We will no longer be using Hometown for ticket sales. However, you can still purchase tickets in advance or on-site at the event gates. HUDL serves as your one-stop shop for schedules, rosters, tickets, and video streams for some varsity events.

Note that the Hudl stream is separate from Modoc Media, which will continue to stream events as usual.

You can now download the Hudl Fan app on your Apple or Android device. You can create a login or purchase tickets as a guest.

Click tickets
Find the home game event you need
Begin purchasing tickets.
✅ Make sure to put all your information in to receive your tickets link in a text or email link.

💛 Creating a free account will enable you to save your information and favorite schools to purchase tickets. This way, you won’t have to keep adding details every time you purchase tickets. The link to buy tickets should be available on the school’s website by next week. If not, download the app on your phone or tablet and familiarize yourself with the process.

For away games, you’ll still need to use the ticketing system provided by the athletic department (cash, HUDL, or HomeTown) of the respective schools.

Congratulations to the La Vega Symphonic Band on advancing to Area in the ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series!

The Symphonic Band placed 2nd with their recording of “Speed Racer” by Carol Brittin Chambers.

Day 2 of the Galveston trip was a lot of fun! The band traveled to Moody Gardens and the Khama Boardwalk. Today is our final day in Galveston and we will be headed to Schlitterbahn!! These young musicians have had a great time and have represented their school well, the directing staff is very proud of everything this group has done this year!! What a great way to cap off an amazing school year!
