It is with a heavy heart that we share this news. One of our lifelong choir members has joined the chorus in the sky. You will be SO missed, John Bromet aka the Peace Wizard. "I can't think of anyone I've ever met that spread more joy, loved more openly and fully, and lifted those around them more than our very own Peace Wizard." -Dustin

We played at Lummi Island 1st Congregational Church Saturday to quite an appreciative crowd who shouted, "encore" after we finished! How fun marimba music is to play for an audience!

Wow!! Ruvara Marimba Studio, the BUF chalice choir and speaker Rev. Tessie Mandeville gave a fabulous service last Sunday! Tessie's sermon was so moving, and the music....well, the music....the crowd got rowdy and danced with abandon! We loved it! :-)

Ruvara Marimba Studio's students--joined by teacher/director Nancy Steele and hoshoman Rick Steele--play rhythmic Zimbabwean music on mbira (thumb piano) and wooden-key xylophones at 10:30am during the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (BUF) Sunday, April 24th service. The BUF Chalice Choir will sing along with us, so bring your dancing shoes! Hope to see you there.
