Fundraising alert!! We are just $1,527 away from our goal, which means unless we raise that amount, we will NOT be able to wrap Mrs. Flink up like a present, and we will have to begin cutting items from our PTA Budget. We already lost our librarian, and our counselor is down to 50% time, we don't want to have to take more away from our school this year. It's here!! We are overjoyed to celebrate 70 years of Happy Valley Elementary today with all of our students, teachers, staff, friends and family! We want to thank our major sponsors, Northwest Health Care Linen, Broadcom, and WinCo Foods, Bellingham for helping us make a big impact in a year when our kids need the support so much. We are nearly at $29,900! Who's going to be the lucky donor that bumps us up to $30K? We'll see you on the field today!

One of the reasons the Move-a-thon is so special to us is because it keeps alive the spirit of Happy Valley's legendary educator Mr. Mike D'Hondt. The 5th Graders who graduated in the spring were the last group to experience Mr. D in person. We are thrilled to share this new video which helps express how his legacy is living on in the hearts and minds of the community through an annual award given to one grade level after the school's annual fundraiser, the Move-a-thon. Thank you to HV parent Steffany Kraft for putting this video together and to all the folks who agreed to be interviewed. Happy Last Day of School! 🥳

⏰Today is early release (12:20). Our awesome 5th graders will walk the halls one last time and we will celebrate them with the traditional parade on the blacktop around 12-12:10. If you're able to, come join us to help cheer on these amazing kids as they complete their time at Happy Valley and get ready for their journey to Middle School!

🕵️‍♀️Lost & Found: today is Last Call for all remaining items! If you don't collect it today, it will be gone. All remaining items will be donated!

📸Yearbooks: ✨our INCREDIBLE 25-26 yearbooks were distributed to all students this week. They should have come home already or are coming home today. Reach out to the office staff or [email protected] if you have any questions. Thank you to our Move-a-Thon donors for making it possible for us to provide a free yearbook to all students and staff! This year's book is full of pictures and amazing memories!
