After years of work with a wide variety of nonprofits, for-profit companies , and individuals, Dr. Strickhouser Vega and Dr. Nguyen saw the need for a company that could bridge the gap between people, data, and decision-making. As a female and minority owned business, Vega Nguyen Research specializes in qualitative and quantitative methods to bring the highest caliber of research to our clients. Our areas of expertise are in the fields of program evaluation and market research. We specialize in statistical data analysis, dataset creation, survey design, data collection, and report writing.

President, Research Statistician and Evaluation Manager
Dr. Vega has over six years of experience as an applied social science researcher, specializing in survey design and evaluation research. She served as Project Manager for the Institute for Social and Behavioral Sciences for two years. There, she oversaw the first statewide hunger survey in Florida and worked with dozens of local nonprofits and major governmental organizations, assisting agencies in making data-driven decisions and policy changes.
She received her PhD in Sociology from the University of Central Florida and her BA from Stetson University in Deland, FL. She is highly trained in survey design and implementation, large dataset management and creation, and advanced statistical analyses, with experience extracting and managing national datasets from sources such as the U.S. Census and CDC (Centers for Disease Control).
