Congrats to all the racers and organizers who finished the new race series this spring. The Bellingham junior riding scene is exploding thanks to efforts like this and all the hard work from the ๐ฅ
These 3 riders, in particular, endlessly impress and inspire us and have pushed us to finally make Radical Racing a thing (more on that soon). โบ๏ธ
Plus, it appears that we already have our furry mascot (last pic) so why not?! ๐ถ
Cheers to even more racing, progression, comradery, and adventure...
This is just the beginning๐ค๐ป๐โก
Studies show that moms and daughters who ride together have more fun together.
Studies also show that a mountain bike lesson from Radical Roots MTB will increase your enjoyment on a bike.
Put the two together and you'll have some awesome stories to share during your Mother's Day brunch this weekend. ๐ฉโ๐ง๐๐ฅช
Hurry because there are just a few spots left in our fun-filled Mom's and Daughter's Day happening Saturday, May 8th, here in Bellingham, WA.
With three of our coaches there to help with different interests and skill levels - there will be something fun for everyone. Click the link in our bio for more information and to register.
Turning Fridays into FriYAYS by helping to make you a better mountain biker.
Our new Fast Track Fridays is a 3 pack of mega progression sessions with Coach Angi that will fast-track your riding forward in a fun and safe setting while you meet other like-minded riders.
Angi will help riders move from riding blue square trails to getting more consistent and confident with black diamond trails while finding more fun and playfulness on any trail.
So if you feel like you are stuck in an intermediate or advanced-beginner plateau and need help becoming a more well rounded rider - this is the course for you.
Led by one of the most experienced, enthusiastic, and highly-certified coaches in North America, the value packed into these sessions is kinda insane.
With only two date options to choose from and limited spots available, your going to want to click the link in our bio and sign up now. Like, right now.

How are your crashing and bailing skills? Did you know there are ways to safely get better at crashing on your bike? ๐คฏ
Crashes happen and how you respond to them matters. So we've developed fun and safe strategies to help riders prepare themselves for when things go wrong out there.
And of course we will give you some important lessons in how to avoid crashing in the first place. ๐
Like our stoked student pictured here - practicing the type of bail you would do from an elevated feature or trail with exposure.
On April 8th we are offering a group lesson focused on the Foundations of Braking and Bailing and we're pretty sure it's the secret sauce to more confidence and less injuries. Who doesn't want that?!
We think group lessons are great too because in the group environment things will come up for someone else that will get you thinking in a new way. Plus, friends!

One way to "Level-Up" in life and in sports is to be mindful of what we put in our bodies - but not obsessed - we can eat donuts (!) (sometimes).
Lucky for us, Level-Up class tonight is being taught by Uriell "Uri" Carlson, a registered dietitian and endurance athlete based in Breckenridge, Colorado.
Uri is the founder of Inner Wild Nutrition and the creator of Fuel Your Potential, a 1on1 nutrition program that teaches cyclists and runners what to eat, so they can build a healthy relationship with food and ditch fad diets for good. Get to know Uri and her message better by following along with her on page Inner Wild Nutrition or visit innerwildnutriton.com
Mark your calendars so you don't miss this inspiring evening with a live (virtual) panel of female leaders in the MTB industry.
The theme for International Women's Day 2021 is so this will be the theme of our conversation.
The team of Radical Rippers planning and presenting are excited to share with you this live conversation with a stacked panel of accomplished and inspiring women.
More info and registration will come soon but in the meantime, save the date: March 8th 5pm PST.
Hope to "see" you there.
We've added a "Foundations of Pumptrack" class to our next Ladies Night at The Bike Ranch. Friday the 26th from 1-4pm is the class and Ladies Night goes 5-8pm so you can stick around and get plenty of practice and encouragement after class. ๐ฅ
โHave you spent much time fine-tuning your pumping and cornering skills? Because it's not only beginners who benefit from foundational classes.
๐ If you think you'd like some professional expertise to help you navigate pumptracks better - here is the link to register:
https://link.waveapps.com/8jc2sd-h2qjfx. Class only has 8 spots so first come, first serve.
This 3 hour class will cover the what, how, and why of techniques used in a pumptrack (which also translate to better bike handling on all your other bikes).
Coach Angi and Coach Em will be using video feedback and our proven, award-winning, radical approach to teaching skills for just $75/rider (must be 18+ and identify as female).
Let us know if you are interested but can't make this class and we might just host another one in March. ๐ค

A fun evening at The Bike Ranch with a rad lady crew, of course! ๐ฅ
You can join Radical Roots MTB for a casual and welcoming Ladies Night Unofficial: The Bike Ranch on February 26th (next Friday) from 5-8pm.
TBR is a privately owned, covered pumptrack just outside of town and perfect for bike handling progression and spending time with other riders who identify as female.
Come alone or invite some friends to join!
We must limit the number of households on the track at a time so please come prepared to possibly wait your turn (there is a covered picnic table area). Radical Ripper Team Apparel Order ORDER DEADLINE: December 31st, 2020
New year, new threads? Wanna get in on our end-of-year Radical Ripper apparel order? We have a few items in youth and adult sizes to pick from...
Big-Air-Clare is modeling a youth short sleeve jersey and Coach Angi is sporting the 3/4 sleeve raglan tee & adult short sleeve jersey. The hooded pullovers are super comfy and cute too (biased, I know). Everything is printed by the experts at Liet Unlimited LLC here in Bellingham.
We are accepting orders until December 31st then closing this round of orders. We should have your items to you in January sometime. I know, bummer it won't be in time for Christmas. But you know what is? Gift certificates! DM us if you want to get a link to our apparel order and/or want to purchase a gift certificate for any of our services. Be the best gift giver ever and reach out today!
Just like the trails and features we ride, we can โlevel upโ as we gain more information and master new techniques. In the process of growing as a rider we can also grow as a community by connecting with like-minded people.
New for 2021, Radical Roots MTB is offering virtual winter training series: Level-Up Girl (ages 9-12) & Level-Up Teen (ages 13-16) for MTBers who identify as female. Plus a few optional book clubs too!
If you (or a young rider in your life) have a desire to level-up and learn more about being a mountain biker while connecting with a community, then this series is just the thing for you.
As part of the Radical Rippers MTB programing, each session of our Level-Up series will be lead by professional and knowledgeable coaches and community members covering an array of topics. However, unlike our on-bike coaching programs (that we offer in Bellingham, WA) you can join this program no matter where you live. Come alone or invite your friends to join!
All that is required to join is an internet connection and a desire to learn new things, challenge yourself, and make new friends.
Check out this link to learn more: https://www.radicalrootsmtb.com/radical-rippers
