Teacher Training: Friday, February 17, 2012. 8:30am-3:30pm.
Registration required.

Workshop conducted by WSHERC (Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center) following Noemi’s presentation.

Sessions include: Overview of the Holocaust, Rescue and Resistance, Holocaust Literature, Analyzing Photographs, Best Practices, and using the Holocaust Center’s new film “With My Own Eyes” in the classroom.

$20 registration fee, however, when you register if you tell them that you are a Woodring student they will discount you $10, and the NWCHGEE (Northwest Center for Holocaust, Genocide, Ethnocide Education) will discount you the other $10.

Mrs. Ban is returning to Western's campus for her first presentation of the academic year on the 73rd anniversary of the Kristallnacht - Wednesday, November 9, 2011. She will be speaking in Arntzen Hall, and the event begins at 6.00 p.m. Please register online!
