Lost & Found Finds: Local Edition

Did a double take this morning when I found a hoodie from to the Horseshoe Cafe—the place notorious for late-night college shenanigans (at least in the late 1900s). Not that kids can't eat there, but it's not the first place I think of for a family meal. But, hey, it's good that we're supporting local, right?

And my other finds are also PNW-themed: The Deming Log Show (not sure what a 'busted up' logger is, but it sounds serious); Mt. Baker Shred Area (is there an area that forbids shredding? I'm not a skier or a snow boarder... or a shredder?); Washington State Grappling Industries Round Robin Tournament (I had to Google this, and apparently it's a "global organization that hosts Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and submission wrestling tournaments," so watch out because there's some kid at Wade King who could probably kick everyone's butt.)

Lost & Found Finds: Custom Art, 90s Nostalgia, and A Whole Lotta Love

We have a hoodie with a personalized design courtesy of Sharpie. I'm not sure what's it's supposed to be, but kudos for creativity. Next time, scrawling a name would also be helpful.

Apparently Bart Simpson is back in, and while perusing all his catch phrases, I'm once again struck by what a terrible role model he is for elementary kids. Though I do kind of want the "eat my shorts" insult to have a resurgence..

Someone loves wolves (appropriate considering our mascot), and someone loves horses.

Lost & Found Finds: Nothing to See Here

Boring haul today. Maybe next week someone will lose something interesting.

As it stands, I'm posting about two Seattle Mariner hats, a baseball glove, a relatively new (and soft) University of NC hoodie, and more of this Angel versus Stitch nonsense. Anything look familiar?

There are also a ton of Nike, Air Jordan, and Adidas "Costco special" hoodies (mostly in black, which is SHOCKING). Come take a looksie.

On the agenda, among other things, we'll introduce this year's officers, approve the budget, discuss upcoming events and goals, and have a general discussion to gear up for the new school year.
