It’s time for the annual block party! 🎉

✏️ More than 30 community organizations will be on-site offering resources, services, and info, including before and after school care, early learning opportunities, and health services.

💪 Families will also have access to free sports physicals, vaccinations, and haircuts!

Are you ready for the BEST party of the year?! 🥂

Mark your calendar for 10/16 for the return of BPSF' signature event, our Promising Futures Gala!

This year's gala is inspired by the timeless elegance of champagne, and will be held at the beautiful Chuckanut Bay Distillery Ballroom. Cocktail hour, a gourmet seated dinner, and our famous Dessert Dash will all be part of the fun. And *new* this year - we'll have a Wine Pull to test your luck at getting a top-tier bottle of bubbly AND an afterparty to keep the fun going after the last paddle is down!

Tickets go fast for this, you won't want to miss it. Keep an eye out for tickets to go on sale in early September.

A huge thank you to Haggen for selecting us for their Building Brighter Futures campaign! Through your generous donations at the Fairhaven and Barkley locations, we raised a total of $10,500!

This money goes directly to supporting the students here in our community, from basic needs and crisis support to giving our students outstanding educational opportunities (like these students from this year's Legos for Learning grant, combining robotics and coding with the creativity of lego builds).

We're accepting nominations for our Gold Star Awards, recognizing the teachers, paraeducators, bus drivers, office staff, custodians, and other school employees who made a difference for students this year. School is the safety net for so many of our community kids. It's where a loving teacher or favorite staffer might see a need that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Our Yes Cards are designed to address that need right away and provide direct donations to district families. ❤️ Let's set up our kids with a summer where all their basic needs are met.

School might be ending, but the needs don't stop.

Summer is a vulnerable time for so many kids in our district. Having enough food in the house for every meal is a challenge. The cost of childcare or summer programs eats into everyday budgets.

Yes Cards give money directly to district families. A gift card can be in-hand in a matter of hours to help with basic needs like food, hygiene products, and more.

Did you know BPSF can give money DIRECTLY to teachers for their ideas and innovations in the classroom (and beyond)? 💸Yup, we can do that!

In fact, we fund a majority of grants $1000 and under. Have a bigger ask? We're very supportive of larger grants that involve project collaboration between multiple staff(s).
