Hey Friends and Family!
As the Season is turning, we need support from our community to make sure students stay dry and happy and allow us to spend as much time outside as possible.
As some of you families remember, for your students, we get wet, we get muddy here! We get puddles, we get poured on, we go out in the snow. All as tolerated, warm and dry clothing keeps us happy explorers.
We are reaching out if anyone in our community would have items to donate to us, or if anyone would like to sponsor a family here. And always – we are in need plastic grocery bags for sending home wet clothing!
If you are interested in sponsoring a family – please message and we can send you a sizing and item request.

We are pleased to announce the recent academic achievements of several teachers at The Seedlings. Please join me in congratulating the following staff members on their graduation and hard work.

Ashley, Teasa, and Trei have each earned an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Whatcom Community College. We appreciate their commitment to advancing their expertise in early childhood development.

Additionally, Syd has earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in Creative Writing, with an endorsement in Secondary Education and a minor in Professional Writing and Rhetoric. Flynn has also graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Pedagogical Practices and Resistance through Puppetry and Subversive Art.

We are fortunate to have such a dedicated team of lifelong learners supporting our students. Please offer them your congratulations when you see them next.

It's a sad day for our Generations family.
Teacher Melody and her family suffered a tragic house fire last night, 5/18/26. Melody, her husband Melvin, and their two kids all made it out safely, but they lost everything.
Melody has worked here for 9 years and her whole family are beloved members of our Generations family.
After getting the kids to bed last night, they had an electrical fire that spread fast. They got the kids out and the house went up in flames quickly.
Melody is handling all of this with great strength. They are safe staying at a hotel right now.
They are expecting to welcome their new baby, Faith Elaine Nicole, in mid July. We are pulling out all the stops to get them back on their feet before she arrives. We know that our Generations community is our biggest asset to come together & support the Deals through this.
We've started today by bringing them some basic necessities, clothes, and are providing some funds from Trisha's Angel Fund.

So how can our community help?

We've opened a fundraising campaign to raise money for them. All of these funds will be given directly to Melody & Melvin as it is collected.

They are in need of housing ASAP. Please let us know if you have any leads on an affordable rental or even donated housing.

We'll be collecting clothes, furniture, bedding, household essentials, toys and books for the kids, etc., to have ready for them when they find housing. They will be starting from nothing so anything you have to offer will be amazingly helpful.

N: girls 10, 2 shoe
Melody: women's 3x, 10 shoe
Melvin: men's 5x, 58 waist. (online)
