📚 Recycling is Like Magic Books
Our children’s books turn recycling, sustainability, and metal magic into fun, easy-to-understand adventures for kids. The books are written by a team that brings both education and real-world recycling experience together, including:
Scuba Jess (Jessica Alexanderson) is an environmental educator, children’s author, ocean advocate, admin of PNW Diving, and Membership Coordinator for the Washington Scuba Alliance. Rudover, metal recycler and recycling advocate and founder of Detroit Scrap
Together, they help show students how recycling connects classrooms, communities, and the planet.
🏆 Million Cans Recycling Contest
Led by The Recycling Society, our national contest partners elementary schools with local metal recyclers to collect and recycle aluminum cans. Schools earn funds, celebrate with ice cream parties, and compete for state and national prizes—while building lifelong recycling habits.
